Our Tricky Word flashcards are a great resource for supporting children to learn tricky words at home. Tricky words are words that children can't sound out phonetically and our pack includes all the tricky words taught in phase 2 - 5 of the Letters and Sounds Government document. We know how confusing phonics can be for parents so we have included a helpful information card that explains a little bit about tricky words, what they are and why your child will be learning them. On the back of this information card there is a table which lists all the tricky words in their different phases and the order your child will be taught them at school.
